Volunteer application

Epilogos is a group of people dedicated to improving the lives of El Salvador’s residents. We ask our volunteers to make a serious commitment and to work under difficult and challenging conditions.

Therefore, before you commit to volunteering with us, we ask that you consider some questions before sending an application to volunteer in El Salvador with Epilogos

  1. Am I ready to stay in a place with only cold water for showering/bathing?
  2. Am I ready to live in a place that only has running water a few hours a day?
  3. Am I ready to live in a place in which the only potable water is purchased in a bottle?
  4. Can I sleep on a bed or a cot in a space with four other people?
  5. Am I comfortable living and working alongside people who do not speak English?
  6. Am I ready for long days of hard work?
  7. Am I committed to serving others and following a program that is prearranged?
  8. Am I healthy enough to participate in a program that may be physically demanding?
  9. Am I ready to merge into another culture by being flexible and patient in dealing with unexpected inconveniences?

You answered
Yes . . .

If you answered Yes to all of these questions and want a rewarding experience, and are certain you’re prepared to make a serious commitment, please fill out

Epilogos Volunteer Application and Participant Agreement.

After you have filled out the above application, please print and mail it to:

Epilogos
PO Box 22
Nashua, NH 03061

Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll contact you with further details. We hope that you’ll find working in San Jose Villanueva, El Salvador, to be as enriching to you as it is to the people we serve.

Sincerely,

Terry S. Phillips,
President
